Kenji Inaba, the world’s friendliest trauma surgeon. He’s the surgeon you wish you could call up during a shift with all of your questions. While we can’t give you his cell phone number, we can do the next best thing: have him answer your clinical questions. Take, for instance, his talk last year on permissive hypotension and what is the “goal” systolic blood pressure in bleeding penetrating trauma patients:

Billy Mallon is at your service. You decide his lecture topic!

We are excited to be moving Essentials of EM to May. Who doesn’t love Las Vegas in May? Plus we don’t have to wait until the fall to see the EEM family again.  This year, we’re giving you control of the conference topics. (at least a few of them) That’s right, we are giving you the opportunity to have 3 of our incredible EEM faculty take your topics, hit the books and produce exclusive, custom, and shiny new lectures just for you. What more could you ask for?

Tweet @EssentialsofEM, using the hashtag #EEM16, and suggest your ideas for a topic and faculty by March 15, 2016. Choose from Al Sacchetti, Billy Mallon, or Haney Mallemat. The faculty will pick from your suggested topics. Choose your topics wisely… you know how Billy can get when let loose on stage!

When you’re done tweeting, register for the conference to hear your lecture live! The $50 Early Bird discount ends soon, on April 1st.

We hope to see you all at the big show. Register Today

Next week, Drs. Rezaie and Berg go head-to-head, comparing and contrasting their strategies and answer your questions, moderated by the one and only Rob Orman. This is where the meat is, so stay tuned!
