A thought provoking NYT article on High Costs of Medical Care

I know it’s not everyone’s gig to be interested in this but it’s fascinating how many facets to this debate are out there. I think this article is very interesting. What makes our healthcare costs so high? Provider payments? Insurance companies? Unnecessary procedures? Liability and litigation?

We spend a tremendous amount of money on healthcare in the US. But, can we compare other countries use of resources that were developed in the US? How about vice versa? This debate will probably rage on for most of our careers.

An interesting read if you’re so inclined.
